What Petus is
Learn how Petus combines AI pet-care guidance with a growing health record, and understand where veterinary advice and urgent care fit.
On this page
Petus is an AI pet-health assistant and a record for the animals in your household. Describe what you notice or send a photo, and Petus can use the information you share to help assess urgency and suggest next steps.
When veterinary care may be needed, Petus can help you find a clinic and prepare an owner-led handover. Video consultations are upcoming.
One record, for life
Selected health facts, files, and details that Petus saves become part of your pet's record. Conversation history is separate and can be searched when you refer to an earlier discussion. You can return to the same record when you change phones or work with a new vet.
Over time, the record makes observed changes in weight, photos, and lab results easier to see and discuss with your vet.
Day to day
| When you | Petus |
|---|---|
| Send a photo or describe a change | Uses what you share and the available record to guide the next step |
| Mention a new food, a missed dose, or a vet visit | Adds useful details to the pet's record |
| Ask whether something may be urgent | Helps you assess urgency and find veterinary care when needed |
| Add a booster or check-up | Keeps it with the rest of the pet's care schedule |
When it's beyond a photo
Petus says so and helps you act on it, two ways:
- Find a clinic. Use the clinic directory and prepare information to share with the veterinary team.
- A vet on video, from home. Coming soon Video consultations are planned. When available, the vet will receive the information you authorise before the appointment. Read more in video consults.
Petus is for dogs, cats, and the rest of the family: rabbits, birds, reptiles, horses and more. Anywhere in the world.
Where this is going
Petus is a pet health company with one aim: more healthy years per pet. Each weight, photo, and lab result can add context for future questions and conversations with your vet.
