Voice
Use voice to dictate messages to Petus and listen to replies, with guidance on microphone access and checking dictated information.
Hands full, or mid-walk: talk instead.
- Dictate. When your browser supports it, tap the microphone in chat and allow microphone access. Your words appear as text you can check before sending.
- Listen. When supported, Petus can read its replies aloud.
Petus only shows browser voice controls when they are supported. If they are not available, use your device's keyboard dictation or continue in text.
Dictation earns its keep in the Journal: thirty seconds after the walk, "Maple limped a little on the gravel" is spoken, sent, and filed before you've taken your coat off.
