Your professional settings describe who you are, your credentials and the practice context associated with your account. Keep them current so review and access decisions use accurate information.
Profile and credentials
Open Settings in Petus Vet. Profile covers your professional identity, languages and supporting professional information. Review the saved details after a change, especially contact information used for account review.
Credentials holds the veterinary licensing information used in the verification process. Enter the relevant jurisdiction and registration details accurately. A submitted credential is not the same as an approved credential; follow the review status and any request for further information.
If your licence or professional circumstances change, update the account rather than relying on an earlier approval. See getting started for the account setup process.
Clinic information
The Clinic section contains your clinic role and details such as the address, website and hours. These describe your professional context. They do not automatically create a practice organisation, add teammates or grant access to that organisation's patients.
To join an operational workspace, follow practice onboarding. To change a public business listing, use the public profile guide. Those records have separate management permissions.
Notifications and privacy
Use Notifications to review the preferences available for your account. Keep contact details current if you depend on notifications for access or account updates. Do not assume that changing a preference changes the permissions on a patient's record.
Data & privacy contains account data controls and policy information. Owner-granted record access, your private Scribe notes and signed practice records have different access and custody rules. Review the relevant guide before assuming that an account action changes all three.
Check the workspace before editing
Personal veterinary settings and practice settings apply to different contexts. Check the account or practice name before making a change. Team roles, practice resources and booking reasons belong in practice settings.
If a control is missing, your account status or role may not permit it. Contact support with the section and action you expected to use. Avoid creating a second account to work around a pending review; it can separate your credentials, patient shares and existing notes.
