Three ways a case reaches you
| Mode | How it works |
|---|---|
| Async | The owner submits a written question with the record attached. You answer in your own time. |
| Scheduled | The owner books a slot from your availability. Video, with the record open beside it. |
| Live | The owner asks for a vet now. Their own vets get the offer first; if none are online, it goes to available pool vets licensed for the pet's location. The first to claim takes the case. |
You control live dispatch with a presence toggle: offers only reach vets marked available.
Record access
A consult from an existing client uses the share you already hold. A consult from the open pool grants access scoped to that consult, and the grant revokes itself when the case closes.
Answering and signing
You close a case by signing your answer. Signing is an explicit act, never automatic, and the signed answer becomes your permanent provider copy (see Your records & obligations).
Payment
Owners pay a flat fee per consult. Your share lands on the earnings ledger as owed, then paid (see Payouts).
