Create an account, verify your registration, open your first record.
Create your account
Sign up with your work email. One account covers referrals, records, and, when they launch, consults. You can add TOTP two-step verification in settings; sensitive actions then ask for a fresh code.
Verify your registration
Submit your veterinary registration number and jurisdiction, plus your professional indemnity policy: insurer, policy number, and whether it covers telemedicine. A person reviews both. Until verification clears you can browse, but not open patient records.
Verification is not one-off: Petus re-checks registration annually and flags an indemnity policy in the month before it lapses.
Open a record
When an owner shares a pet or a referral arrives, the record appears in your worklist: problem list, meds, weight trend, labs, and the triage history that led to you.
Your dashboard
The portal starts on the day's work: open cases, your upcoming schedule, the earnings ledger. The ledger fills once consultations launch.
What Petus sends you
An owner-shared record is read-only and consent-scoped: the owner chooses what you see and can revoke access. Every access is logged, for your protection and theirs. Details in Reading the owner record.
