Payouts begin with paid consultations. The ledger already sits on your dashboard.
How the ledger works
Every consult you answer lands as a row: the pet, the subject, when you answered, and its payout state — owed, then paid.
What you are owed for finished work does not expire. A ledger row survives even if the owner later revokes the record share; the work was done.

| Owed | Answered and payable, payout not yet made |
| Paid | Payout made and marked against the row |
A consult whose payment never settled, or was refunded, is not owed.
How payment arrives
Petus makes payouts manually at first, row by row against the ledger. Automated payouts through Stripe come later.
