Your clinical records are yours. Signing a consult answer writes an immutable provider copy: a self-contained document with a print-ready rendering and a SHA-256 fingerprint.

Custody never pauses with the product: your copies stay retrievable even while consultations are paused.
Signed work is append-only. A correction is an addendum to the record, never an edit.
Your obligations
Keep your credentials current. Petus re-checks registration annually and flags indemnity policies in the month before they lapse. Records you retrieve from custody are for your own professional record-keeping and your regulator — handle them under your usual confidentiality duties.
