Receiving referrals
Directory presence today, referral packets at launch.
Petus already refers owners to real clinics: when triage escalates, the owner sees nearby clinics from the directory. Listing is live today.
The referral packet
Coming soonReferral packets — the record arriving with the referral — open with the practice launch. Petus assembles the pet's record as of a cutoff date into one self-contained document:
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| Summary | Species, age, presenting complaint |
| Clinical | Problem list, current meds, allergies |
| History | Vaccinations, diet, recent triage trail |
| Results | Lab values with trends, relevant files |
Owner-mediated delivery
The owner reviews the packet, consents, and sends it to you themselves. Petus generates and fingerprints the document; delivery is the owner's act. What arrives needs no login and no Petus account to read.
Each packet carries a SHA-256 fingerprint over its exact contents, so you can verify the document is exactly what Petus generated: nothing added, nothing removed.
